  PTT (Push-To-Talk) switch 

Press and hold this switch, then speak into the microphone 

to call a station.

  Side 2 key 

Press to activate its programmable function {page }.  Acts 

as an Up key for certain transceiver settings.

Press to activate its programmable function {page }.  Acts 

as a Down key for certain transceiver settings.

  Display (K2/K3/K5/K6/K7 models only) 

Refer to the display on page 3.

  A key (K2/K3/K5/K6/K7 models only) 

Press to activate its programmable function {page }.  The 

programmed name appears on the bottom of the display.

  B key (K2/K3/K5/K6/K7 models only) 

Press to activate its programmable function {page }.  The 

programmed name appears on the bottom of the display.

  <C key (K2/K3/K5/K6/K7 models only) 

Press to activate its programmable function {page }.  The 

programmed name appears on the bottom of the display.

Press to activate its programmable function {page }.  The 

programmed name appears on the bottom of the display.  

Also acts as an Up key for certain transceiver settings.

Keypad (K3/K6 models only) 

Press the keys on the keypad to send DTMF tones.  The 

keypad keys can also be programmed with secondary 

functions {page } if a programmable function keys is 

programmed as Function.
