CNX Dual Processor Modular Control System

4.  After a file is selected, the Update Control System dialog box, as 

shown below, will query the CNRACKX-DP to determine what 
versions of the Operating system, Monitor ROM, and TCP/IP Stack are 
currently running. 

 

5.  If the CNRACKX-DP does not have optional CNXENET+ Ethernet 

Expansion Cards, uncheck the TCP/IP Stack option to transfer faster 
(transferring the stack will not cause any problems). Otherwise, send all 
of the checked components. To start the transfer, click the Send button. 
The transfer dialog will inform you of the progress in updating the 
selected components. 

6.  As a result of the update, a dialog box similar to below may open and 

the SIMPL program (and possibly SIMPL+ modules) must be cleared. 

 

7.  Upload the SIMPL program and SIMPL+ modules after the transfer is 

complete. 

8.  If both processors have not been updated, refer to the note at the 

beginning of this procedure, electronically switch active processors, 
and repeat this procedure.
