Kaspersky Lab recommends that you avoid restoring deleted and disinfected objects since they may pose a threat to
your computer.

To restore an object that has been deleted or disinfected by the application:
1. Open the main application window.
2. Click the Quarantine link in the top part of the main window to open the Protection state window on the
Detected threats tab.
3. From the dropdown list located over the list of threats, select Neutralized.
The list of disinfected and deleted objects is displayed on the Detected threats tab. Objects are grouped
according to their status. To display the list of objects in a group, click the + icon located to the left of the group
header.

4. Right-click to open the context menu of the object that you want to restore, and select Restore.

We recommend that you create Rescue Disk after you have installed and configured Kaspersky Internet Security,

Creating the Rescue Disk means the creation of a disk image (ISO file) with up-to-date anti-virus databases and
configuration files.
