Select [All Images/Sounds] 

in step 5 on p.170.

Press the 4 button.

Use the four-way controller (2) 

to select [Protect].

Press the 4 button.

All the images and sound files are protected and the screen shown 

in Step 1 reappears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Cancel] 

and press the 4 button.

The Playback Mode Palette reappears.

To Protect All Images and Sound Files

Protected images and sound files are deleted when the SD Memory 

Card or the built-in memory is formatted (p.214).

To cancel the Protect setting on all your images and sound files, select 

[Unprotect] in step 3.
