closet, the data core network, and Gigabit
Ethernet aggregation. The Passport 8003
is a three slot chassis that supports all
existing Nortel Networks Passport 8600
interface modules. The Passport 8003
chassis increases flexibility for implementing
Layer 3 switch routing anywhere in the
network. As a wiring closet solution, the
Passport 8003 offers Layer 3 functionality
and wire speed performance in a compact
