Inserting the SD memory card

These small dimension cards (24x32x2 mm) allow you to increase the
storage capacity of your camera by adding extra memory. These cards
are supplied in a rectangular, bevelled plastic format. One side of the
card is printed with various indications regarding the direction of insertion
and the storage capacity of the card, and the other side has nine gold-
plated contacts.

If you are using a memory card, please insert the card immediately after installing the batteries.

The memory card is inserted inside the battery compartment.
•
Carefully slide the cover off with your thumb.
•
Before inserting the memory card into the slot provided, make sure the gold-plated contacts at the end
of the card are on the battery side (see photos below).

Carefully but firmly insert the card into the slot until you hear a « click », indicating the card is locked
into place.
•
To free and remove the card, press the visible part of the card and then gently remove your finger: the
card will be pushed out mechanically for easy removal.
