PLACEMENT AND/OR REPLACEMENT OF
THE BATTERIES:
Open the battery compartment cover
using a Philips screwdriver. Then insert a
6LR61/9V alkaline battery, in each unit.
Respect the polarity of each one, as
indicated in the diagram. Changing or
handling the batteries must always be
carried out under the supervision of an
adult.
To start
Switch the ON/OFF (A) selector to the ON
position. Press the transmission button
“PUSH TO TALK” (B) and speak into the in-
tegrated speaker-microphone, placing it
at a distance of approximately 8 cm from
the mouth.
The best coverage and the greatest range
is achieved in open spaces, without obsta-
cles that may get in the way, such as build-
ings, trees, etc. Some locations may have
very poor coverage such as places that are
near power lines, inside homes.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
If the communication range is short, the
best reception is achieved in open spaces
without obstacles. In built-up areas and
enclosed spaces with thick walls and radio-
electric emissions the communication
distance can be seriously impaired.
Reception can be poor in some places
close to electric pylons. Avoid these when
possible.
Construction and emergency teams use
radio sets. Avoid activating your Walkie
Talkie in nearby areas where possible
interferences can arise.
Do not touch the antenna or allow your
fingers to go near it while playing, as this
will considerably weaken the receiving and
transmitting signal.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
If the transmission distance shortens or
the sound volume decreases, this could
be due to spent batteries, which should be
replaced.
CARE AND SAFETY
To clean the unit, use a slightly moist cloth.
Do not use detergents or solvents.  In case
the device gets wet, turn it off and remove
the batteries immediately.
Dry the battery compartment with a dry
cloth. Leave the battery compartment un-
covered all night so that it may dry com-
pletely. Do not attempt to use the device
until it is completely dry.
