Installation Instructions
Figure 1.  Bezel interface and Wireless interface
Installation
To replace the bezel interface with the wireless interface:
1.  Remove the screws from the electronics enclosure and
remove the electronics enclosure lid.
2.  Disconnect the wiring plugged in to the electronics
enclosure.
3.  Remove the screws that are securing the electronics
enclosure to the bezel interface and remove the
electonics enclosure.
4.  Remove the bezel interface.
5.  Feed the four-wire plug from the exterior WTI interface
plate through the hole in the door, and secure the
interior mounting plate to the exterior mounting plate
(Figure 2). Insert and tighten screws through interior
mounting plate. For 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 in. (32 to 38 mm)
doors, use 3/4 in. (19 mm) screws. For 1-1/2 to 2 in.
(32 to 51 mm), use 1-1/4 in. (38 mm) screws.
Note: If the screw does not fully secure the plates to the
door when tightened, use a shorter screw. Do not
overtighten the long screw.
6.  Thread the four-wire plug from the wireless interface
plate, and the two-wire plug from the lockset through
the thread hole in the electronics enclosure. You will
attach the wires after securing the enclosure.
7.  Using the four #8 × 5/16 in. (16 mm) panhead screws
and lock washers, attach the electronics enclosure to
the interior mounting plate. Position each flat washer
against the inside surface of the electronics enclosure,
then place the lock washer on top of the flat washer,
and secure with the screw.
