2.11  Advanced Handset Settings 

From the Main Menu go to Settings then press the Right Arrow Key for Handset Settings 

•  Preferred mode: If you have poor COMCEL coverage you can lock your phone to GSM. 
•  Preferred selection: You can specify which network to register with from a list of 

available networks. 

Restore default settings 

•  If your handset is not working as normal or you have changed any settings which affect your 

services you can restore the handset to its default factory settings. The Handset Lock Code is 

0000. Your content (eg Contacts, Pictures, Songs etc) will not be erased. 

•  The Time and Date automatically updates from the Network. In some border areas the 

handset will pick up a neighbouring cell and change this to the wrong time zone. Disable this if 

required.
