Chapter 6: Management and Administration

The User Name is guest.

l

The Password is freewave.

l

The guest user is

l

assigned to the Guest Group.

l

allowed viewing and user privileges to all Configuration pages but has limited editing

privileges.

Note: The guest cannot save changes made in the Configuration pages .

These sections detail:

l

creating and changing groups.

l

adding users to those groups.

Each user is assigned to a User Group with an assigned User Name and Password.

A user Group defines:

l

If a User assigned to the Group is able to access the Configuration pages using any

method.

l

The browsers the User can use for access.

l

The IP addresses they can access the

from.

A

ships from the factory with these default User Groups:

l

admin - Login is allowed from any browser or IP address.

l

guest - By default, login capability is disabled.

Add additional Groups as necessary to manage the users and their access rights that are applicable

to the company.

1. Connect to the
