The Ovation MC950D USB Modem is an HSDPA/HSUPA Mobile

Broadband  device  using  the Qualcomm  MSM7200  chipset.  This tri-

band UMTS and quad band EDGE/GPRS modem is packaged inside a 

very small 70 x 25 x 12 mm form factor making it small enough to fit com-

fortably in any pocket. It is HSUPA ready; an upgrade in firmware will be 

made available that will allow upload speeds of up to 2.1Mbps.

This compact, high performance modem, complete with an integrated 

antenna,  offers  both  Receiver  Diversity  (2100MHz)  and  Equalizer 

support.  Although a global modem, the MC950D is optimized for Europe 

and any territories around the world which support the 2100MHz band. 

Software is included on the device which means that users can connect 

to  the  internet  without  the  need  to  install  drivers  from  a  CD.  If  more 

power is needed (in weak signal areas) the MC950D comes with a Dual 

USB Y-cable which allows more power to be delivered to the device.
