Note: If you download a copyrighted file to your phone 

and store it on your memory card, you can use the file 

only when your memory card is inserted in your phone. 

You cannot send, copy, or change copyrighted files.

insert or remove a memory card

  

Open the memory 

card slot cover on 

the side of your 

phone.

To insert the card: 

Slide it in, with the 

gold contacts facing down, until you feel it click 

into place. Your display should show MMC Inserted.

To remove the card: Press it in until you feel it 

click, then release it. You should be able to drag it 

the rest of the way out.

Replace the slot cover.

set memory for multimedia content

You can set whether multimedia content that you 

download or create with your phone’s camera is stored 

in phone memory or on the memory card.

  

With the flip open, touch Menu

 to open the 

menu.

Touch Settings

.

Touch Memory.

Touch Pictures, Videos, or Audios.

Touch Automatic, Phone Memory, or Card Memory.

Note: Automatic saves files to the memory card 

when one is inserted. If a memory card is not 

inserted, Card Memory is not available.
