Learning to Use Your Phone

Using the Handsfree 
Speaker

Note: You must open your phone’s flip to 
activate the speakerphone.

Your phone’s integrated handsfree speaker 
allows you to talk to another party without 
holding the phone to your ear.

Speaker On/Off

To activate the 
speakerphone during a 
call, press and hold the 
speakerphone key. 

Your will see Spkrphone On, and the 
speakerphone indicator q, and hear a soft 
audio alert. 

To end the call, press and hold the 
speakerphone key again. You will see Call Ended 
and hear a soft audio alert.

You can set your phone so that the 
speakerphone remains on until you press the 
speakerphone key again or turn off the phone.

You can also set your phone to turn off the 
speakerphone automatically after 20 seconds 
of inactivity:

Note: Closing the flip while using the 
speakerphone does not end the call. To end 
the call, press P (with the flip open).

Note: The handsfree speaker is disabled 
when you connect your phone to a handsfree 
car kit or headset accessory.
