displayed on the screen.    After typing in the name that you want 
to search for, then press 

.      If the input methods are needed, 

press 

  to enter it.    When the first letter you typed fits in with 

your list, the first one will be highlighted and all matched data will 

be listed down.    You can use 

  to browser and view the rest 

data.   

After pressing 

  key to launch the function, items of new 

record including memory type SIM/Phone, name, tel. number, 
picture, caller groups, voice dial, e-mail, address record number, 
and birthday, will be displayed on the screen.    Blank is not 
allowed in both name and phone fields.       
1.  The phone will automatically assign a memory location to 

store the data on the SIM or phone itself according to your 
selection. 

2.  You will need to enter both the phone number and name, and 

no data will be stored if you leave any of these two items in 

blank. In the name field, press 

  to enter text entry mode, 

and press 

  to enter submenu input methods selection.

3.  Empty filed is not allowed in phone number.    Three sets of 

phone numbers can be input for handset setting (NVM), and 
one phone number is for SIM card setting   

4.  Picture is appeared when receiving a call. As long as you 

store data into phone memory location, it will allow you to 
select from Instant Snapshot or Album or Image picture 
folders shown on screen.    When the selected picture is 
locked, enter password to unlock.    SIM card has no this 
function. 

5.  You may assign a caller group to a phone number, so that you 

can identify it next time when it comes in. There are 7 default 
choices accessible by pressing
