4.9.2 Transferring measurement data via the file system
Exporting the route file into the file system
Switch on VIBSCANNER 2.
Connect VIBSCANNER 2 to the PC. Use the enclosed USB cable with Micro USB con-
nection.

Click under [Devices and Drives] on the connected VIBSCANNER 2. The two drives
on the device appear: [Measurement Data] and [System Data].

On the [Measurement Data] drive, open the [Routes] folder. The individual routes
are stored as archive (*.tar). The name of the route is contained in the archive
name.

Copy the respective route file from VIBSCANNER 2 onto the PC. You can transfer
the route with the measurement data onto a different PC, send it per e-mail, or
read it into the OMNITREND Center software at a later time.

Importing the route file into OMNITREND Center
Prerequisite
The route to be important was created in the OMNITREND Center database.
Procedure
Start OMNITREND Center (see the section above).
Click on
[Upload to PC] in the main icon bar. The [Measurement Data Import]
dialog window appears.
Click on the [Select file] button.
Select the respective route file (*.tar).
Click on [Open]. The import starts.
A dialog window appears following the import. Here you can find out which routes
have been imported successfully and which ones have not.

Click on [OK] to exit the import dialog.
