Muting all delegate units temporarily
Using the priority function, the chairman can interrupt a discussion at any
time.
Keep the priority key
5
 pressed for as long as you want to mute the
conference units (push-to-mute function).
All conference units – except for the chairman units – are muted. The
microphone LED
0
 and the signal light ring
2
 of the previously active
conference units flash red. As long as you keep the key 
5
 pressed, the
LED next to the key lights up. 
To take the floor while keeping the priority key pressed:
Press the microphone key 
A
 (see page 33).
To cancel the muting of the conference units:
Release the priority key

The muting of the conference units is canceled. The LED next to the key
5
 goes off. The discussion is continued.
Starting a voting session 
With the WiCOS C and WiCOS CV chairman unit with voting function, you
can start, pause and stop a voting session. 
If you are using the 
WiCOS CV
 chairman unit, you have to proceed as
follows.
To 
start 
a voting session:
Keep the ABSTAIN key
C
 pressed until the “voting mode” is shown on
the multi-function display

The multi-function display switches between “voting mode”, “volume
adjustment mode for loudspeakers” and “media control mode”.

The “speaking right” of your chairman unit remains active, even
if you cancel the conference or mute the conference units.
CAUTION!
Danger of loss of the voting result!
The voting results are not saved.
Note down the voting results.
Use the voting functions of the SDC 8200 conference and
interpretation system, which allows you to save voting
results (see page 73 and the instruction manual of the
SDC 8200 conference and interpretation system).
