or BOOST to listen for a response. TX then  

disappears.

4.  When the channel is clear, press and hold  

 or BOOST to transmit. TX displays. 

 

When you press 

 and the transmit power is low 

(LO - 0.7W), the radio transmits at maximum high power 

(HI - 2.5W) except for channels 75 and 76.

Release PTT or BOOST to receive another party's transmissions 

to you.
