This Supplementary Instructions manual explains how to get started with a wireless LAN and point out cases where the operation
of the computer will differ from that in the Operating Instructions and/or Reference Manual.

Wireless LAN communications are done via an antenna.
When making a connection via a wireless LAN, raise the antenna as shown in the right
figure. Otherwise, you should keep the antenna retracted.
When setting Antenna Mode (Receive/Transit) in [Aironet Client Utility (ACU)] - [Pro-
file Manager], select [Diversity (Both)] or [Left Antenna Only].
