AC Operation (Using external AC Power Adapter)
 
- Works on normal household AC-Power.
- Please ensure your country's AC- voltage is within the AC-Adaptor's voltage range.
- Plug one end of the AC Adaptor into the DC Socket at the back of the unit.
- Connect the other end of the adaptor into a wall outlet with AC power.
- Press “On/ Standby” key to switch ON the unit.
IMPORTANT: How to tell if the unit is ON?
When the unit is on, the display will be lit in bright Red color.
Battery operation
 
- Works on C-Cell (UM-2/LR14 Type) alkaline batteries.
- Open the battery compartment door and insert 6 pcs of “C-Cell” (UM-2/LR14 Type) alkaline 
  batteries.
- Please ensure all battery polarities are correct inside the compartment.
- When using only AC power supply, or batteries inside have not been used for more than 4 weeks, 
  we suggest you to remove all batteries from the unit to avoid damage from battery leakage.
