User’s Manual and Installation Instructions

 

Install  asset  tags  using  the  provided  holes  to  equipment.  The  tags  may  secured  with 
screws, rivets or cable ties. For best results, place the tags in a position that provides the 
best "line of sight". Tags should not be placed inside of metal containers. 

The  Overview  asset  tags  are  shipped  powered  and  transmitting.  The  tags  are sealed  and 
there  are  no  serviceable  parts  inside. When  the  portal  reports  low  battery  tags  should  be 
disposed and replaced with a new tag. 

Tags are rated for indoor and outdoor use in damp and wet conditions. Tags should not be 
submerged  in  water.  Do  not  expose tags to temperature  above  65°  C  (149°  F). If  a  tag  is 
damaged or cracked, replace with new tag.
