4. Reading out and programming the BIDI logger
Our BIDI loggers are most versatile and can be adjusted to your personal requirements in
terms of connection time, operating mode, transmission interval, transmitter power, and
measurement period. The following parameters are set ex works:

If you wish to program our BIDI logger, the logger needs to be set to communication mode
beforehand (LED of the BIDI loggers must flash three times). There are three options on
how to set the logger to communication mode:

1. Run the solenoid switch across the
symbol on the logger cap to set the BIDI logger
to communication mode.
2. If the BIDI logger has already been set to data transmission mode, it can be set to
communication mode during the data transmission times. Please go to the main menu
and tap on Settings Logger utilities Wake up to set the BIDI logger to
communication mode.

3. Or go to the main menu and tap on the menu Patrol Start (wait until the requested
BIDI loggers is being received) Settings. The tablet
is now trying to “Wake up“ the
selected BIDI logger and will then read it out.

NOTE:
If the process is cancelled, please make sure the BIDI logger is
still within radio range (+/- 8metres), that the logger is still set to
communication mode, or that other loggers set to data
transmission mode do not interfere with your communication
with the logger you have selected.
