The Backup Exec 3600 appliance includes replication
capabilities using optimized duplication, which enables
deduplicated data to be copied directly from one Backup Exec
Appliance to a second appliance or to a managed Backup Exec
Media server. Because the data is deduplicated, only unique
data is copied between the devices, and this optimized
duplication occurs automatically using a duplicate backup job
between appropriate devices. Also, you can restore data from
either the original or the replicated copy since separate
catalogs are maintained for each copy, and full granular
capabilities using optimized duplication, which enables
deduplicated data to be copied directly from one Backup Exec
Appliance to a second appliance or to a managed Backup Exec
