Push the “Menu Switch” down (Next) 

  or up (Previous) 

to select a desired MP3/WMA, 

or WMA-DRM10 file. 

Press the “PLAY / PAUSE / POWER ON-OFF” button 

 to play the MP3/WMA, or 

WMA-DRM10 music file. 

 MP840

 only supports Mpeg I Layer 3 and WMA files compressed at a rate between 32Kbps – 

320Kbps. 

The File Navigator is a fast and convenient way of moving between tracks, files and folders. 

Press and Hold the “Menu Switch” inwards (MENU) 

  to enter the Navigator. 

 

 

Push the “Menu Switch” down (Next) 

  or up (Previous) 

  to select a folder. 

Press the “Menu Switch” inwards (MENU) 

 to enter a folder, push the “Menu Switch” down 

(Next) 

 or up (Previous) 

 to select a file and press the “PLAY / PAUSE / POWER 

 button 

  to play a selected music file. 

Pushing the “Menu Switch” up (Previous) 

and selecting the top entry 

 will move you up 

one folder level. 

Repeating the previous operation will take you back to the root directory [/Root.DIR/]  (top folder 

level).
