Symantec Ghost Solution Suite Version 2.0
VARs and system builders
The included recovery kit allows VARs and system builders
to provision an onboard boot environment, eliminating
the need to provide bootable media to initiate a recovery
process. The image and recovery environment can be
booted by pressing a function key.
System requirements
The minimum hardware and software requirements to
run the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite vary according
to the specific suite components you choose to install.
The following represents the minimum requirements
with all suite components installed.
Client
• 133 MHz Intel® Pentium®
• 32 MB RAM
• 6 MB disk space
• Available disk space to equal twice the size of the largest
file to be migrated on the C: drive when restoring a
package Windows 95B, Windows 98 SE, Windows NT® 4.0
(SP4), Windows 2000 Professional (SP1), Windows XP
Professional Edition, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition,
or Windows Vista (Windows Me and Windows XP Home
Edition not supported)
