Add New Boot Option 

 

Add a new EFI boot option to the boot 
order. 

This option is only visible if 
an EFI bootable device is 
available to the system (for 
example, a USB drive). 

Delete Boot Option 

 

Remove an EFI boot option from the 
boot order. 

If the EFI shell is deleted, 
you can restore it by setting 
CMOS defaults (F9).

If all types of bootable devices are installed in the system, the default boot order is: 
 

1. CD/DVD-ROM 
2.  Floppy Disk Drive 
3.  Hard Disk Drive 
4.  PXE Network Device 
5.  BEV (Boot Entry Vector) Device 
6.  EFI Shell and EFI Boot paths 

 

The Add New Boot Option screen allows the user to add boot option to the boot order. 

To access this screen from the Main screen, select Boot Options > Add New  Boot 
Options.
