The Device Credential Repository (DCR) now supports the ability to define multiple 
credentials for a single device. 

The integration of CiscoWorks LMS with Cisco Secure Access Control Server helps in 
securing granular user roles and device access. 

 

All CiscoWorks LMS 3.0 applications now ship on a set of two DVDs, one for Solaris installations 

and the other for Windows installations. Both Solaris and Windows installation DVDs are provided 

in the package so customers can choose which operating system version to install. The 

CiscoWorks LMS 3.0 applications included are as follows:

Data migration from previous CiscoWorks LMS 2.x versions is supported. For details on migrating 

device and network information from previous CiscoWorks LMS 2.x versions, please refer to the

CiscoWorks LMS 3.0 is a major software release with new pricing. This new release is not offered 

as an entitled upgrade kit under Cisco SAS contracts; therefore, customers interested in the new 

features of CiscoWorks LMS 3.0 will need to purchase this release as a new and continued 

investment in CiscoWorks LMS. The announcement of end of sale (EOS) and end of life (EOL) of 

the CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 release is being made in conjunction with this new product 

announcement. Product orderability for the CiscoWorks LMS 2.6 release will remain turned on for 

6 months, and customer known defects and device support will continue to be supported as 

specified in the Cisco EOS and EOL product bulletin.

CiscoWorks LMS 3.0 will begin shipping on June 22, 2007. Customers can order these new 

products through normal Cisco sales channels as of June 12, 2007.
