The WLAN stick is an efficient WLAN adapter 

for a direct, wireless connection to a WLAN 

access point. It supports the new 802.11n 

WLAN technology but is also backward 

compatible to the previous 802.11a, b, and 

g standards. The FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick N 

transmit on the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency 

and reaches transfer rates of up to 300 

Mbit/s*. Dual-band support for 2.4 GHz and 

5 GHz allows for greater flexibility when 

choosing an optimum channel within the 

wireless network.

Besides FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick N, the 

FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick N 2.4 is available. 

It transmits on the 2.4 GHz frequency and 

reaches transfer rates of up to 130 Mbit/s*.

In combination with a FRITZ!Box WLAN, 

the FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick is amazingly easy 

to install: encryption is configured auto-

matically on installation, without any need 

for user configuration. AVM’s Stick & Surf 

technology copies the security settings from 

the FRITZ!Box and self-installs on the PC 

automatically when using Windows 7, 

Vista or XP with Service Pack 2 or higher.
