You can press the shutter release button all the way down (single
step) if the camera is in the following status:
• Either Green Mode or Auto Picture mode is selected.
• Focus mode is set to Standard (Autofocus).
• Drive mode is set to Standard or Continuous Shooting.
This allows you to release the shutter at the right moment. The
pictures are taken as deep-focus (pan focus) shots.
