The grey values are the factory basic settings.
Description of the setting functions:
•  Function #1, green LED flashes 1x short: Drive function
In this settings menu the speed controller unit can be switched between the three functions „forwards/brake“, „for-
wards/brake/reverse“ and „forwards/reverse“.
The setting „Forward/brake“ can deactivate reverse driving; this is frequently required in competitions.
The setting „Forward/reserve“ should not be used, since this will cause overload of the drive by directly switching
between forward and reverse driving (gear, differentials). This setting us usually used in „Rock Crawler“ vehicles in
which the transmission or the brushless motor used only permits very slow driving with a high torque.
•  Function #2, green LED flashes 2x short: Motor brake
If you reduce the throttle at the transmitter or move back the throttle/brake lever into the neutral position, the vehicle
will slow down automatically. The effect is thus exactly like that of the motor-braking function in a „real“ car when you
release the throttle pedal without stepping on the brake pedal.
This also corresponds to the brake function of a conventional electric motor (a brushless electrical motor does not
have any strong magnets that brake the rotor).
  Settable values are 0%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%.
•  Function #3, green LED flashes 3x short: Undervoltage protection
If LiPo rechargeable batteries are used, then you must ensure that the low-voltage protection is activated (we
recommend at least 3.0 V per cell). When operating a LiPo battery without undervoltage protection, the LiPo battery
is permanently damaged by deep discharge!
If the speed controller measures a battery voltage of 6.0 V in a 4-cell LiPo battery (fully charged approx. 16.8 V) and
a deactivation voltage of 3.0 V/cell, the speed controller first reduces the starting output and switches off the motor
after 10 seconds to prevent deep discharge of the LiPo battery. The LED at the speed controller then emits a double
flashing signal (red).
When using am NiMH-drive battery, deactivate the undervoltage recognition. Alternatively, you can set the undervol-
tage recognition to 2.6 V/cell. Deactivation takes place at a battery voltage of 10.4 V then (the speed controller does
not recognise that a NiMH-drive battery is connected, but calculates the deactivation voltage assuming that there is
a 4-cell LiPo battery).
