Operating instructions
 Video Signal Amplifi er 1000 m V2
 Intended  use
This video signal amplifi er allows a signal transmission range of up to 1000 
metres via coaxial cable. The optimal signal reception is adjusted via trim-
mer. This guarantees an optimal result.
The video signal amplifi er as well as the power supply unit are solely inten-
ded for operation in dry indoor locations.
The voltage is supplied via the power transformer (12V/DC) enclosed.
Operating the product in any other way than described above is not per-
mitted and may lead to damage to the product, which can give rise to risks 
such as short circuit, fi re and electric shock. The product must not be mo-
difi ed or converted. Always observe the s s included in these operating ins-
tructions. Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for later 
reference.

Explanation of the Symbols
The “lightning” symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void for damage arising from non-compli-
ance with these operating instructions! We do not assume any 
liability for damage to property and injury to persons caused 
by mishandling or non-compliance with the safety instructions!
An exclamation mark indicates important notes in these opera-
ting instructions that should always be observed.
•  Th e video signal amplifi er must not be modifi ed or converted, as 
not only will the CE approval become void but also the warranty. 
•  The video signal amplifi er should not be exposed to extreme tem-
peratures, direct sunlight, intense vibrations or heavy mechanical 
stress.
•  Where the devices are used connected to other devices e.g. a mo-
nitor, the operating instructions and safety notices of the devices 
connected must be followed.
•  The design of the power transformer complies with protection 
class II. Only connect the mains transformer to a normal mains so-
cket (230 V~/ 50 Hz) connected to the public supply.
•  After rapid changes in temperature, the video signal amplifi er and 
the power supply unit require some time to stabilise, in order to 
adjust to the surrounding temperature, before they can be used.
•  Electronic devices are not toys and should be kept out of the reach 
of children! 
•  Please contact qualifi ed personnel if you are unsure about the sa-
fety or the correct use of the video signal amplifi er. 
•  Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plas-
tic fi lm/bags, etc. can be dangerous playthings for children; there 
is a risk of suffocation.
•  If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer pos-
sible, disconnect the device immediately and secure it against in-
advertent operation.
•  It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible signs of damage,
-  the device no longer functions and
-   if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long 
period of time
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
•  In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of 
the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Sys-
tems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
•  The video signal amplifi er as well as the power supply unit are so-
lely intended for operation in dry indoor locations.
•  The voltage is supplied via the power transformer (12V/DC) enc-
losed.
•  Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a 
qualifi ed specialist or a specialised repair shop.
•  In case you have questions, which are not answered in this manu-
al, please contact our technical service or other specialists.
Installation
All connection cables must neither be fl exed nor squashed. 
This can result in malfunctions, short circuits and defects in 
the device.
When selecting a location for installation, make sure it is not 
exposed to direct, intensive sunlight, vibration, dust, heat, cold 
and humidity. The device must not be set up in the vicinity of 
other devices with strong magnetic fi elds, or near magnetic 
fi elds. No devices with strong electric fi elds such as e.g. mobile 
phones, radio devices, electric engines etc. must be in the pro-
ximity of the video signal amplifi er.
The video signal amplifi er as well as the power supply unit are 
solely intended for operation in dry indoor locations.
•  The video signal amplifi er has 4 mounting holes.
•  Take the video signal amplifi er and hold it on the designated mounting 
location.
•  Mark the mounting holes (e.g. with a pencil).
•  Drill the holes.
•  Attach the video signal amplifi er to the desired mounting location using 
suitable mounting material.
