Congratulations on your purchase of Excalibur Electronic’s SOUNDMASTER™ 
Orbit. You and your friends will enjoy hours of great music with this 
innovative speaker set. It’s compatible with most iPod models. Your 
SOUNDMASTER™ Orbit includes crystal-clear sound from four custom-
designed neodymium micro drivers. It has a built-in docking station that 
provides synchronization, data transfer and recharging options. It even has 
a secondary input jack so you can connect your SOUNDMASTER™ Orbit to 
your computer. Your SOUNDMASTER™ Orbit is easy to use, but be sure to 
use it safely. Before starting, please read this manual thoroughly, especially 
noting safety and care. Keep this manual for reference. This package 
includes one SOUNDMASTER™ Orbit, seven dock adapters, one AC adapter, 
one mini-jack cable, and user’s guide.
• Avoid rough handling such as bumping or dropping.
• Avoid extreme temperatures. For best results, use between 39° F and 120° F
  (4° C and 38° C).
• Clean using only a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaners with harsh  
  chemical agents or detergents.
• To avoid damaging the unit, never place it near radiators, in front of heating  
  vents, in direct sunlight, or near water.
Introduction
Carefully remove your SOUNDMASTER™ Orbit and its accessories from the 
packaging. Based on your iPod model, choose the correct dock adapter. Slip the 
dock adapter into the docking station. Your iPod will insert in the front of the dock 
adapter. Press it down until you hear a clicking sound. Then, connect the power 
adapter to the back of your SOUNDMASTER™ Orbit and to a wall socket. Press the 
POWER button on the back of the unit. A blue LED light will turn on when the unit 
system is on. If you are using iPod Classic, connect the auxiliary cable from the 
headphones into the AUDIO IN outlet on the back of your SOUNDMASTER™ Orbit. 
You can also connect your SOUNDMASTER™ Orbit to your computer or laptop. 
Connect your computer to your SOUNDMASTER™  Orbit by using the PC input port 
on the back of the unit (PC connector cable not included). Once you’re finished 
setting up your Orbit Sound System, you’re ready to play. Use the controls on your 
iPod to select a song or playlist. Press the VOLUME+ and VOLUME- buttons on the 
front of the unit to adjust the volume.

EXCALIBUR ELECTRONICS, INC., warrants to the original consumer that its products are free 
from any electrical or mechanical defects for a period of 90 DAYS from the date of purchase. If 
any such defect is discovered within the warranty period, EXCALIBUR ELECTRONICS, INC., will 
repair or replace the unit free of charge upon receipt of the unit, shipped postage prepaid and 
insured to the factory address below. The warranty covers normal consumer use and does not 
cover damage that occurs in shipment or failure that results from alterations, accident, misuse, 
abuse, neglect, wear and tear, inadequate maintenance, commercial use, or unreasonable use 
of the unit. Removal of the top panel voids all warranties. This warranty does not cover cost of 
repairs made or attempted outside of the factory.  Any applicable implied warranties, including 
warranties of merchantability and fitness, are hereby limited to 90 DAYS from the date of 
purchase. Consequential or incidental damages resulting from a breach of any applicable 
express or implied warranties are hereby excluded.  Some states do not allow limitations on the 
duration of implied warranties and do not allow exclusion of incidental or consequential 
damages, so the above limitations and exclusions in these instances may not apply. The only

Ship the unit carefully packed, preferably in the original carton, and send it prepaid, and 
adequately insured. Include a letter detailing the complaint, along with your daytime 
telephone number, inside the shipping carton. If your warranty has expired and you want an 
estimated fee for service, write to the above address, specifying the model and the problem.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR UNIT WITHOUT RECEIVING AN ESTIMATE FOR SERVICING.

Do not use this product near water.

This product may be equipped with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug 
having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only 
one way. This is a safety feature; if you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, 
try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to 
replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
Protect the power cord from being damaged or pinched.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
Unplug product during lighting storms or when you are not going to use it for a long

Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Service is required when the product
