This pushplate series (10PBJSx) is designed to fit neatly into standard jamb-style pushplate boxes or be mounted
directly to a door jamb.  The faceplates are made of 1/16” thick stainless steel for durable use.

1.
Determine the mounting location of the pushplate.  Use the enclosed mounting template if the pushplate is to be
attached directly to the door jamb, otherwise, the pushplate will mount directly into a jamb-style box with a 3 ¼” hole
spacing.
2.
If the pushplate is to be mounted directly to the jamb tube, use the template and mark the drill locations by tapping
the holes with a hammer and center punch.  Then proceed to drill the holes and cut out the recess for the switch.
3.
Wire the switch of the pushplates to the door controllers using the normally open contact and common.
4.
Fasten the pushplate to the mounting location.
5.
Test the pushplate for proper activation.

The pushplates are constructed with durable stainless steel and painted with scuff-resistant coatings.  To clean
the plates, use only a damp, non-abrasive cloth.  Repeated cleaning with harsh solvents or abrasive materials
may cause deterioration of the coating.  Please make the end-user aware of this procedure.
