Point the remote control handset to the remote sensor IR. Press the function keys on the

According to the figure above connect remote IR sensor to wire remote socket in back of the unit 
to use with steering wheel remote control and to extend range of remote control.

The remote eye 

should be mounted at direct line of sight with the steering wheel remote
