Devices” on page 4-3.

Remove the system unit cover (see “Removing the Cover” on page 4-4).

The Model 140 has the capability of using a separate L2 cache card to enhance
system performance.

The L2 cache card is installed toward the front of the system unit, to the left of the
media drive bracket.

To install or upgrade the L2 cache card, do the following:

1. Remove the disk drive bracket assembly from the system unit and carefully place

it on top of the power supply.

Note:  Any adapters installed in slot 5 may have to be temporarily removed in

order to remove the disk drive bracket. Refer to “Removing Adapters” on
page 4-80 for adapter removal instructions.
