A design change to the cylinder head gasket for the Tu-Flo 550/750 compressors has resulted in a new gasket being
released.
Please note:

•

  The new gasket can be installed either side up. (The previous gasket required that the beaded side of the

gasket must face the compressor crankcase when assembled.) The new gasket does not have a beaded side and
the plastic coating on either side is not removed for installation.

•

  Care should be taken not to damage the gasket material as creasing, bending etc. could affect the gasket

seal.

•

  As before, when installing, the cap screws are torqued to an initial 200 inch-pounds and then to 440 to 500

inch-pounds using a cross pattern across the head until all screws are within the torque specification.
