Thermador recommends not exceeding 50 equivalent length (ft) (15.24 m) of duct.

Keep duct runs as short and straight as possible. Elbows and transitions fittings reduce air flow efficiency. Back to back
elbows and “S” turns give very poor delivery and are not recommended. A short straight length of duct at the inlet of a remote

For Thermador Pro Ranges applications with a non-approved Thermador hood, the hood and/or blower must be rated for 1
CFM for every 100 BTU on the Range/Rangetop. If the range has a Griddle, add an additional 200 CFM to the estimated
blower capacity. If the range has a Grill, add an additional 400 CFM.

For island applications, it is recommended to use a hood width that exceeds the width of the range by 6'' (152 mm),

A 25 foot extension cable (EXTNCB25) is available for purchase to connect the hood to in-line or remote blowers, if required.
