OVEN

Before turning on your oven for the first
time perform the Oven Burn-Off Proce-
dure in the Care and Maintenance section
of this booklet. Remove the broiler pan,
oven racks, and rack guides and wash
them with hot soapy water. Thoroughly

light the oven push in and turn the oven
knob counter clockwise to the temperature
setting you wish to cook at - 150ºF to
500ºF. The oven ignitor will glow
brightly. The gas valve will open allow-
ing the flow of gas into the burner. The
oven ignitor will light the gas coming out
of the ports on the burner. This may take
up to one minute.
