This example shows basic Ethernet configuration for port 40 on I/O module 6:

Disabling port negotiation 

P460-1(super)# set port negotiation 6/40 disable 

Link negotiation protocol disabled on port 6/40

Setting port duplex to full 

P460-1(super)# set port duplex 6/40 full 

Port 6/40 speed set to full duplex

Setting port speed to 100 Mbps 

P460-1(super)# set port speed 6/40 100mb 

Port 6/40 speed set to 100MBps
