Note: Duplex channels cannot usually be called and are automatically eliminated from the 
suggested call list. If the call is to a Coast Station, the channel is selected automatically. 
The call details are shown. Press ENT to SEND the call.

Press ENT to retry the call. 
6-5 Acknowledgement  of an Individual Incoming Call (INDIV)
The radio sounds a friendly two-tone alert when it detects an incoming DSC call. 
Incoming individual calls are almost always ROUTINE priority.  
You must manually acknowledge an incoming call.

If the radio recognizes the MMSI as one of your buddies, your buddy’s name is displayed in 
place of the MMSI. 
Press ENT to automatically acknowledge the incoming call and stop the call alert.

The caller should respond to your acknowledgement by making voice contact on the
