Below are the answers to some of the most common queries.

Check the mains switch is on and check all mains 

connections.

Check the TV is not in standby mode.

When using an external source, if there is little or 

no colour, improvements may sometimes be 

achieved by changing the colour system. The 

colour is factory set to Auto to display the best 

colour system. If not, change the colour system.

To do so:

1. Press MENU, and then press /  until the 

Special menu appears.

2. Press  to highlight Colour System and 

press  /  to select between Auto, PAL, 

SECAM, NTSC4.43, and NTSC3.58.

Make sure the VCR or DVD player is connected to 

the TV as shown on 

page 10

, then select the 

correct input by pressing 

.

Check all lead connections.
Check the volume has not been turned down or 

that sound mute has not been selected.

Check the correct input has been chosen, EXT2, 

EXT3, or EXT3-S. See 

"Connecting a media 

recorder and/or a decoder" on page 10

.

Interference or a weak signal. Try a different TV 

station. Manual Fine Tuning may help. See 

"Adding channels manually" on page 14

details.

Check the Panel Lock is On.

Check the batteries aren’t dead or inserted 

incorrectly.

The Frequency may need adjustment. See 

"Using 

the PC settings" on page 19

 for details.

The Phase may need adjustment. See 

"Using the 

PC settings" on page 19

 for details.

Check the Speaker Out in the Audio menu is set 

to On.

There are none broadcast or they have not yet 

loaded. Press 

 to access. See
