1. Locate the hard disk drive cage near the front of the unit.

2. To remove a hard disk drive:

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove and set aside the two screws that secure the hard disk drive cage to the 
bottom of the chassis.

Install only hard disk drives received from the Pelco factory.

Any video on the hard disk drive will be lost when the drive is replaced. If possible, export important video 
recordings before you replace a hard disk drive. Follow the instructions for exporting video in the DVR5100 
Hybrid Video Recorder Operation manual.
