Cisco FSR (Fast Secure Roaming)
A proprietary security mechanism devised by Cisco Systems to overcome some shortcomings in the
802.11 Standard WEP encryption, without impacting the ability of the wireless phones to roam from one
access point to another with seamless voice. Cisco FSR requires advanced configuration of the Cisco
access points in your site. See your Cisco representative for detailed WEP documentation on configuring
your access points and other required security services on your wired network. To configure Cisco FSR
on your wireless phone, you must enter a Radius server username and password into each phone.
