ECOserver model EIM
General
Model EIM is a universal 4U-high 19-inch
server that combines five properties:
• first SME server to Qualify
ENERGY STAR
®
guidelines;
• energy efficient, only 45W;
• compact, depth only 40 cm;
• low noise level, 50dB;
• expandable, in harddisk drives and PCI or PCI-e cards.
Specific properties
The EIM is designed especially for the SME market and is equipped
with the latest generation Intel server motherboards with energy
saving processors from the XEON 55xx range. It can contain two
processors and is provided with an IPMI service processor to
monitor and manage vital server functions. The 4U 19 inch chassis
can contain up to 8 HDD, SAS and/or SATA so a high internal
storage capacity is available. On average it consumes 45 Watt so
substantial savings can be made on energy costs. Model EIM is
available in several versions. Up to 7 cards, PCI or PCI-e, can be
placed at the back of the server. The front panel will be delivered
in white, with ECOserver logo and with DVD access.
