A two-digit security code is required to access the answering system 

remotely from any touch-tone telephone. The preset code is 

19. You can set 

the code from 

00 to 99.

to confirm.

The telephone base beeps every 10 seconds to alert you of new messages. 

The tone stops when all new messages have been reviewed.

replace it with your own.

The answering system must be turned on for the message alert tone    

to function. 
Press any key on the telephone base (except 

/FIND hANDSeT) to temporarily 

silence the message alert tone.
