  Playback Controls

1.

Set the VIDEO switch to either COLOR or B/W. When
B/W is set, color recordings are played in black and
white.

2.

Load a pre-recorded tape. (If the erasure prevention
tab has been removed, the VCR automatically begins
playback mode.)

3.

Press the PLAY button to start playback.

4.

Press the REC/PLAY MODE (+) or (-) buttons to select
the desired playback mode.

•

A tape recorded in SP mode cannot be played back
in 6H or L18H mode.

•

A tape recorded in EP mode cannot be played back
in 2H or L24H mode.

5.

Press the STOP button to halt playback.

•

Turn the SHUTTLE ring to the left to rewind the tape
when the VCR is in stop mode.

•

Turn the SHUTTLE ring to the right to fast forward
the tape when the VCR is in stop mode.
