(Shuttle Dial)

•

— quickly rewinds a video cassette tape if

the tape is stopped. Does not show a picture on the
TV screen.

•

 — quickly plays a cassette tape backward so you

can find a desired section of a recording.

•

 — Moves the highlighting left while the menu is dis-

played.

• Rotate the VCR’s shuttle dial counterclockwise to

select 

 for rewinding. The shuttle dial automati-

cally returns to its center position when you release it.

freeze-frame, quick-motion, or visual search.

• During slow-motion play, varies the slow-motion play-

back speed (forward or reverse) from

• During normal play, skips forward or backward to the

next recording on a tape (see “Index Search” on Page
31).

Automatically enhances picture quality during playback.
