When the VCR detects the tape end or the time counter
shows “2H” during recording, the output level
becomes 0 V DC. To resume the 5 V output, press the
operation button (EJECT Z, REC z, FF M,
REW m or PLAY B, etc.).

gives warning, otherwise, press
the reset button.

This terminal will help you to know when something
wrong has happened to the VCR during recording.
The VCR outputs a pulse signal from WARNING
OUT terminal.

To turn the clog detection function off, set CLOG
DETECTION to OFF on the ALARM SET menu.

Set TAPE END WARN. to COUNTER or TAPE END
on the ALARM SET menu.
• COUNTER: the time counter shows “2:00:00” and a

signal is output from the TAPE END OUT terminal
(recording will be continued to the end of the tape).

• TAPE END: the VCR detects the tape end.
