Aim the silver stripe of the Light Wand vertically toward the upper portion of the body.

Keep the body site to be estimated relaxed (do not permit subject to flex muscle area being 

estimated).

Use the Light Shield to block the external light.  ALWAYS avoid estimations under strong 

lights (e.g. direct sunlight) because errors may occur. 

CAUTION: 

Do not move the Light Wand while the decimal point is illuminated.  The 

actual estimation is being made at that time.
