Reducing the red-eye effect
If the flash fires when you capture a photo of a person in the dark, a red
glow may appear in their eyes. To reduce the red-eye effect, select Auto
Red-eye or Fill-in Red.

When the red-eye reduction function is used, there are two separate flashes. The
subject should not move until after the second flash. If the subject is too far from
the camera or moves after the first flash fires, red-eye may not be reduced.

Using the built-in flash
To open the built-in flash, press the flash pop-up button. The flash does
