Shooting close-ups — Macro
The close-ups (Macro) recording mode is
used when zooming up subjects such as
flowers or insects. Setting the zoom all the
way to the W side lets you shoot subjects
at distances as close as 8 cm (3 1/4 inches).
However, the minimum focus distance
varies according to the zoom position.
Therefore, shooting with the zoom set all
the way to the W side is recommended.
